Accessibility

We want to enable everyone to participate in culture on an equal footing.

Accessibility to the venues:

Barrier-free access to all rooms in our building is guaranteed. The entrances to the building itself and to all event rooms are at ground level or easily accessible via an elevator. Barrier-free sanitary facilities can be found on the 1st floor.

We have sufficient seating for people with limited mobility.

Disabled pass & accompanying persons

Persons with severe disabilities receive reduced admission upon presentation of the relevant document at the entrance.

Necessary accompanying persons (“B” on the disabled person’s ID card) are admitted free of charge, but it is essential to register by e-mail to presse@dai-heidelberg.de is absolutely necessary, as otherwise no seat can be guaranteed.

Assistance dogs are permitted at all events.

Location & Parking

The DAI Heidelberg is very centrally located and only a few minutes’ walk from Bismarckplatz, so the best way to reach us is by public transport. Unfortunately, we do not have our own parking spaces, but there are several parking garages in the immediate vicinity.
