Do you want to perfect your academic writing and presentation skills? Getting ready to go abroad? We offer a range of workshops to aid students and scientists accomplish their academic goals in a relaxed and supportive environment. Our teachers are trained at top American universities who are specialized in mentoring researchers in the art and craft of scholarly writing and public speaking.
Additionally, we offer English language certification (DAAD) and TOEFL preparation for study and/or research abroad.

Academic Writing
Mastering the craft of written analysis and summary is a core aspect of academic work. This course provides a comprehensive overview of helpful norms, rules and skills to help researchers improve their writing and their chances of publishing in English.
English for University Life
Anxious about starting university life? Unsure how to transition your writing from high school essays to academic research papers? This workshop is aimed at young adults who want to improve fundamental skills in order to excel at university. Focus is also placed on the major differences between English and German academic writing as well as on conversation and presentation exercises.
Presenting Research Results
Planning a speech at an upcoming international conference? Is public speaking difficult for you? Unsure how you will sound in front of an audience of experts? The aim of this course is to help you plan, practice, and deliver an accomplished academic presentation in English.
DAAD Certification (English / Spanish)
We offer the DAAD certification that is needed for studying abroad. The test consists of reading and listening comprehension tasks as well as testing writing and speaking skills. The official DAAD certification certifies your current language level and will be issued within 48 hours after the test (during workdays).

TOEFL Preparation
Planning on taking a TOEFL test? We offer intensive and individual preparation for this specific language test, so you’ll feel relaxed and confident in your language skills. The course content is aimed specifically at the TOEFL test.
Fee One-to-One Lessons: 60,- € per session (60 minutes)
Fee Group Course (at least 3 people): 20,- € per person per session ( 60 minutes)
