1 Library memberships are free for Ivy Members of the DAI.
2 The Little Bookworm Membership is free for children 12 years and under if their parent also has a library membership.

A library membership is non-transferable.
Trial Membership (for Students)
A trial Library Card subscription is valid for six months and costs 5 €.
A trial Library Card + Film Club subscription is valid for six months and costs 10 €.
Late Fees
For books, test books incl. CDs and audio books: 0,50 € a week per item
For DVDs: 0,50 € a day per DVD
Loss of Library Card
Replacing your library card costs 5 €. The cardholder is responsible for any misuse of the lost card. It is therefore important that you immediately report your lost library card to us.
Loss or Damage of Media
Should you lose or damage any media, you must pay a processing fee of 5 € in addition to the replacement costs of the item.

Extension Periods
You may extend your loan period by using the online catalog.

Please login to your user account and select “Option” and then “Verlängern”.
Your user name is the number on the barcode of your library card, e.g. 314511F.
