Our mission is to help you grow and develop on fronts that go beyond vocabulary, sentence structure, and grammar. Mechanics matter but so does the capacity to develop and test ideas in spontaneous forms of communication while finding your own voice. Our language lessons will allow your children to discover the language creatively and by having fun while equipping them with skills that go beyond the ABC!

Abitur preparation – English

Teens Talk –Conversation Clubs

Art, Film, IT, Science and Writing Courses for Creative and Curious Minds

Why not improve your English while tapping into your hobbies? This is precisely the goal of our creative courses and workshops! From art, science and film courses to IT and creative workshops – we design, program, research, experiment, paint, tinker and have a lot of fun while practicing English!

Art Explorer Course (5 – 9 years)
The Art Explorer workshop is a creative arts program for Primary school age children, which promotes creative thinking through artistic instruction. In this workshop, we take a hands-on approach to learning with a focus on self-expression by exploring different master artists each week. We address color, composition, creativity, as well as the proper use of materials and clean up. Kids will be able to create their piece based on the artist that week, always in their own style and with their own personality and creativity. After all, being able to create freely unique pieces of art empowers us all!

Creativity Course (10 – 14 years)
Creative thinking is a vital life skill. It enables us to imagine, innovate, problem solve, and think outside the box. It also makes learning more fun! Most traditional school curriculums don’t leave a lot of space for imagination or divergent thinking, and many students don’t have practice using this important part of their brain.
The aim of this fun and engaging course is to bring together young people and give them a chance to think outside the box, challenge their assumptions and open their eyes to new possibilities. For example:
Can you imagine and draw an impossible object?
Have you ever tried to paint upside-down? Or done a blind portrait?
Did you know that 1+1=1 (at least in the creative world)?
Together we will find our artistic vein, let our creativity run wild and most importantly HAVE A LOT OF FUN.

This course is perfect for kids who already love to draw and create, as well as for those who need help getting started.
Activities include creating stories from images, urban sketching in the city, upside-down painting, technique sessions and much more!

IT Course for teens (10 – 16 years)
If you seek to emerge as a computer programmer, software engineer, or web developer, this course is a great space to start! We introduce you to the digital space, guiding you through fundamental concepts and skills to confidently navigate various aspects of IT and the digital world, covering a wide range of topics to build your IT knowledge. You will discover what coding is and write your own basic code. You will also take on a project, either designing a futuristic city using Minecraft, building a website using a WYSIWYG editor, or take on a project of your own choosing. In the process you will learn teamwork, build self-confidence, and learn to think critically and creatively.

Do you like composing stories? Are you a part-time daydreamer? Do you enjoy making-up fun and crazy plots? Alternatively, are you struggling to write? Keen on learning how to get your ideas down on the page? Creative Writing has something for everyone. Our relaxed workshop approach nurtures and inspires young writers, enabling them to think creatively and to develop their writing skills. Science Talk!

Our distinguished Professor Joseph (Joe) Lorenz welcomes teenagers to a fun, weekly science discussion group based on topical scientific articles available from respected media outlets (e.g., The New York Times Science section, Scientific American and National Geographic).

Join the conversation and be inspired by a range of topics – from the latest discoveries about our universe to cutting-edge research on brain function. The goal is to teach you about science while helping you acquire English fluency.
