Open Houses and Important Dates
Open Houses
Approximately every six weeks, we offer prospective parents the opportunity to visit the DAI International Kindergartens and get to know the leader, teachers, view the classrooms, as well as ask any questions about the concept and practical aspects.
You are more than welcome to bring your children to these appointments.
Please RSVP to the corresponding Kindergarten leader if you plan to attend an Open House. For organizational reasons, we ask you to arrive punctually at the opening times mentioned.
Please note: If your family has already been accepted into the DAI International Kindergartens, please do not attend public open houses. Open house dates for newly accepted families will be sent to you directly by your kindergarten house leader.

Holiday Closing Dates
Like the municipal kindergartens, DAI International Kindergartens have 26 annual closing days. These are divided into three weeks of summer vacation, approximately two weeks of Christmas vacation, as well as some bridge days (days between bank holidays and weekends), as well as two professional development workdays for our caregivers. The summer closing days usually take place in the last three weeks of August.
Families interested in further care during our summer vacation are encouraged to look into the DAI summer programs provided by our DAI Language School and the DAI Culture House.
