With his quartet, Matthieu Chazarenc continues to explore the universe he created for his first two works Canto (2017) and Canto II (2021): a mixture of inspirations from film production mixed with influences from classical music, Cascogne and the South. An outstanding melodist, who at times conveys nostalgic and melancholic, at other times lively and energetic moods that remain firmly anchored in the mind. Chazarenc offers a colorful jazz, full of sun and warmth, filled with spices and fragrances.
