Soo Jin Cha

The Korean pianist Soo Jin Cha, who lives in Salzburg, fascinates her audience with warmth, depth and luminous tone colors. She studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and the Mozarteum Salzburg, developing an expressiveness that combines European tradition with personal intensity. As a prizewinner of international competitions such as the Bösendorfer Competition, Premio Jaén, Rosario Marciano, the Manhattan International Music Competition and other renowned competitions, her artistic skills are widely recognized. She gives solo concerts worldwide, performs in chamber music formations and shines as a soloist with renowned orchestras. With her music, Cha wants to give comfort and joy and open up a sound space in which heart and soul meet.
