With her quartet, Mathilde Vendramin creates a lively musical space in which all participants can contribute their different cultural backgrounds. This makes creative musical communication possible: changing, complex grooves meet experimental freedom and delicate, song-like chamber music moments. The result is a multi-layered, surprising and emotional world of sound. Berlin-based Mathilde Vendramin takes center stage with her compositions and lyrics, drawing on her wide-ranging experience in classical music and jazz. The cellist is active in the vibrant Berlin scene as well as internationally in various formations.
