The Association of German-American Centers, together with the DAI Heidelberg, cordially invites you to its new digital event series: once a month, we will talk compactly and in-depth with selected personalities about cutting-edge transatlantic topics.
To kick things off, we welcome Eric Langenbacher. The political scientist analyzes current developments in the USA, with a particular focus on political culture, collective memory and the relationship to Germany and Europe. The discussion will be moderated by Viktoria Harbecke. You can look forward to a pointed exchange, new perspectives and the opportunity to contribute your questions to the dialog.
Eric Langenbacher is a Teaching Professor and Director of the Senior Honors Program in the Department of Government, Georgetown University, where he teaches courses on comparative politics. He is also Director of the Society, Culture and Politics Program at the American-German Institute.
Viktoria Harbecke is Chairwoman of the Association of German-American Centers and Director of AmerikaHaus NRW.
