Philipp Scheucher was born in Graz in 1993. He started playing the piano at the age of 5. At the age of twelve, Philipp Scheucher already performed with his mentor Markus Schirmer at the Vienna Musikverein. With him he received his artistic education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where he already received important impulses for his musical career as a young student with Maria Zgubic.

He is currently rounding out his repertoire in chamber music with Markus Becker at the Hochschule für Musik, Medien und Theater in Hanover and receiving his pianistic fine-tuning from Dorian Leljak and Ian Jones at the Royal College of Music in London.

Philipp Scheucher has received many international awards, has numerous engagements in Germany and abroad, and has released two solo albums to date.

At the DAI he plays works by Beethoven.
