KAMA Collective

  • Jazzclub Heidelberg at the DAI
  • Concert

KAMA Kollektiv is a quirky band from Amsterdam whose music eclectically combines influences from Nordic jazz, folk and indie pop. The band’s songs tell sometimes whimsical, sometimes banal stories about the small pleasures of everyday life and mystical nature. They are always full of energy and with a wink. The charismatic front woman Kirsi-Marja “Kiki” Harju enchants the audience with her eccentric singing and lyrical trumpet playing. She and bassist Jonathan compose the music for the band.

Kirsi-Marja Harju – trumpet, vocals
Ida Alanen – piano
Jonathan Nagel – double bass
Joe Korach – drums
