Body Electric’s interplay is highly communicative and interlocks in breathing grooves. They play original compositions whose melodies are touching and yet completely kitsch-free. The unusual line-up with two keyboard instruments and no bass challenges the traditional idea of what a jazz band is. The band started in 2021 under difficult conditions due to the pandemic; the repertoire that has matured since then in numerous club and festival concerts is now documented on the album Body Electric, which was released in December 2023.
