Parents’ workshop: Multilingualism as an opportunity

A workshop for parents and caregivers who want to find out how they can support their child in multilingual language development.

Target group: Parents of toddlers, pre-school or school children as well as future parents who are planning a multilingual upbringing.

About the workshop:
In this 2-hour workshop, speaker Maximilian Christmann will answer questions about multilingual growing up and parenting. For example, many parents ask themselves the following: Will multilingual children speak later? Should I speak my own language or German with my children? Are four languages too many for my child? My child doesn’t answer me in my language, how should I deal with this? You will learn how you can support your child in learning two or more languages and receive valuable tips on how to deal with the different languages in the family.
