Relax and loosen up your body with a gentle yoga class. Ideal for seniors, and good for anyone new to yoga, each class will explore easy mindful movements and postures designed to warm up and loosen the soft tissue and muscles. We’ll also work on strengthening the back and abdominal muscles.
Local asylum-seekers living in Heidelberg are welcome to attend this course for free. Please contact the DAI first to request a space.
Suitable for total beginners and open to all.

The teacher:
Josh Gale is from Auckland, New Zealand and has been practicing yoga and meditation since 2002. In 2006, Josh completed his first yoga teacher training course, and 10 years later he completed another one, this time focused on a Buddhist mindfulness approach. He is a certified mindfulness teacher with the UK organization Breathworks and is presently doing an advanced course with the Zen Yoga School in Berlin.

Please bring your own yoga mat (camping mats are not suitable) and register ahead of time.
