Dr. Markus Kaim is Head of the Geo-Economics and Security Policy Division at the Federal Ministry of Finance. He previously conducted research on German security and defense policy at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Christian Lammert is Professor of Political Science with a focus on political systems in North America at the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies at the FU Berlin.
