Finn-Ole Heinrich is an author, filmmaker, and co-founder of the huckepack publishing house, part of mairisch Verlag. With books such as *Räuberhände*, *Frerk, du Zwerg! *, and the *Maulina Schmitt* trilogy, he is one of the most prominent voices in German-language children’s and young adult literature. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the German Youth Literature Prize. Together with Dita Zipfel and illustrator Tine Schulz, he tells the stories of the Rübe family—full of wit, imagination, and a childlike view of the world. With more than 2,800 readings in Germany and abroad, he is also regarded as an exceptional stage and storytelling artist.
