Duo Kamand

The artists Mohsen Taherzadek and Maryam Hatef are stars in their home country Iran. Mohsen Taherzadeh plays the daf, a Persian frame drum, and Maryam Hatef not only sings, but also plays the dotar and tanbur, both string instruments. They have long delighted audiences on their tours all across Europe.

Taherzadeh and Hatef have combined the Sufi music they play with texts by famous Persian poets such as Mewlana, Attar and Hafiz.
