A Snow White that the Brothers Grimm couldn’t have dreamed up any better – silent, black and white and set in 1920s Spain: Carmen is the daughter of a famous matador who ends up in a wheelchair after a bullfight. The evil stepmother condemns the little girl to the most menial of chores. When she manages to escape to a troupe of diminutive toreros, Carmen discovers her true calling.
