Arturo Zeballos Sat, 18th May 2019, 8:00 pm A Tribute to Atahualpa Yupanqui 6th International Guitar Festival Heidelberg Concert, Festival Arturo Zeballos presents an evening dedicated to Atahualpa Yupanqui, one of the most important Argentinian Folklore musicians of the 20th century. Arturo Zeballos has been transcribing Yupanqui’s music since 1980 and with the help of the Fondo de Gestión Cultural y Patrimonio he has been able to release music scores and audio recordings of Yupanqui’s own unpublished pieces. Zeballos’ music career started with Professor Carlos Molinaro and continued to develop under the instruction of maestro Eduardo Frassón. Later on he participated in master classes taught by Eduardo Eguez, Paul O’Dette, Hopkinson Smith, Gerard Oppizt und Jordi Savall.
