34th Heidelberg Piano Week

Sofia Proietti, born in Italy in 2000, learned to play the piano at the age of seven. She graduated with top marks from the G. Briccialdi in Terni with top marks. She graduated in piano from the Accademia del Ridotto in 2022 and is now devoting herself to further musicological studies in Rome. Proietti has demonstrated her musical quality at international competitions.

The pianist performs both as a soloist and with orchestras in various theaters and concert halls. In 2018, she was the protagonist of the Christmas concert at the Tivoli as part of the Tivoli in Classica festival. She already performed at the Heidelberg Piano Week in 2020.

At the DAI, Sofia Proietti will perform works by Johannes Brahms, Frédéric Chopin, Alexander Scriabin and Sergei Prokofiev.
