OVERSÁEZ (Sáez/Westergaard/Ott) is a piano trio from Berlin.
In January 2025, the trio recorded their debut album at the legendary MPS studio in Villingen. OVERSÁEZ combines European classical music with jazz elements and open improvisation. The music is characterized by a mixture of structured, well thought-out compositions and free, intuitive moments.
The new album Abstract Emotions was released on June 13, 2025 on Boomslang Records.

“Abstract Emotions reflects the complexities and challenges I’ve faced over the past year. It has been a time of loss, overwhelming emotions and subsequent confusion – feelings that are often impossible to put into words.
Words are how we try to describe our shared human experience, but words can never truly capture the depth of our feelings. We may have to accept that others will never truly understand our journey and that we, in turn, may never fully understand theirs. With this album, I try to bridge that gap and offer my music as a way to translate these abstract emotions into something tangible, something we can share with the world.”
