Pietro Ceresini received his first piano lessons at the age of six and played his first concert at the age of seven at the Teatro Regio in his hometown of Parma.
In the years that followed he refined his playing in piano masterclasses given by Paolo Bordoni and Filippo Gamba, and from 2009 to 2011 he attended the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he was taught by Sergio Perticaroli.
He then moved to Germany, where he completed his master’s degree in Lübeck with Konstanze Eickhorst; at the Musikhochschule Freiburg he passed his concert exam with distinction in the class of Prof. Christoph Sischka.

Pietro Ceresini has won several national and international piano competitions. He has already performed at important piano festivals as well as numerous piano recitals in Italy, Germany and also Peru. In Germany he regularly appears on stage both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles.

He currently teaches at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium Innsbruck and as a lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg.

At the DAI Pietro Ceresini plays works by Mozart, Chopin, Szymanowski, Münch and Granados.
