The Italian Sofia Proietti began piano lessons at the age of seven. Early on she won first prizes at national and international competitions. From 2012 she will regularly attend international master classes with Aquiles Delle Vigne, Konstantin Bogino, Jerome Rose, Andrea Lucchesini, Pasquale Iannone and Massimiliano Ferrati.
She has performed in various theatres and concert halls, both as a soloist and with orchestra, including in July 2014 in the famous Vienna Hall in Salzburg, together with the best students of the Summer International Academy.
In 2016 she took part in the renowned international piano competition Steinway & Sons, won the pre-selections for the Rome and Central Italy area and thus took part in the final in Verona.
She is currently completing the Professional Diploma Course of the Academy of Reduced Stradella with Andrzej Jasinski.
At the DAI Proietti plays Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Scriabin, Debussy and Liszt.
