28. Heidelberger Klavierwoche

  • Sylvie Nicephor
  • In cooperation with Jahrhundertwende-Gesellschaft

What was common around 1900, being an all-rounder in music, has become a rarity in our highly specialized era. But the pianist, singer, musicologist, composer and teacher Sylvie Nicephor is still one of these musicians.

Being taught by the Argentinian pianist Wilfredo Voguet, she began her studies in Paris. During her career she performed as a sopranist in Paris and Serbia and as a pianist in Paris, Italy, Greece, Germany, Finland and Serbia.

At the Heidelberg Piano Week, Sylvie Nicephor is going to present the 24 Préludes by Claude Debussy, a masterpiece of French Impressionism.
