Till Hoffmann, born in Freiburg in 1996, received his first piano lessons at the age of six. From 2005 he was taught by Nella and Andrej Jussow at the Stuttgart Music School.

His first competition successes came early on, for example a 1st prize with the highest number of points at “Jugend musiziert” in 2014. In 2018 he was awarded 4th place at the International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig. From 2014 he studied piano at the Karlsruhe University of Music in the class of Kaya Han, and in the winter semester 2018/19 he switched to the class of Bernd Goetzke at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media.

Hoffmann is a first prize winner of numerous renowned competitions, including the piano competition “Ton und Erklärung” 2019 or the Tonali Competition 2016, as well as a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation and the Gundlach Foundation.

At the DAI he performs works by Beethoven, Bach, Scriabin and Chopin.
