WAYS OF LISTENING
The DAI Heidelberg and the Villa Aurora & Thomas Mann House Association invite you to the unique format WAYS OF LISTENING. In talks, readings and performances, legendary interviewer Paul Holdengräber, psychoanalyst Josh Cohen, composer Cathy Milliken and Hannah Arendt expert Samantha Rose Hill, among others, will come together. Exiled voices such as those of Syrian author Yasmin Merei and Chinese writer Xu Xing add global perspectives to the dialog.
The events explore listening as a political practice, as a therapeutic art and as a musical experience. A celebration of attention in times of increasing polarization.
Welcome to the celebration of an underestimated human gift with conversations, art and the loud and quiet nuances.
