Year of the Tiger Wed, 26th October 2022, 3:00 pm DAI - Bibliothek Wang Min & Lihong A celebration of Chinese fairy tales & myths International Children's Book Festival China possesses a huge treasure of fairy tales, myths and legends. They carry the spiritual roots of the people of this vast country and offer extremely interesting insights into China’s patterns of thought and action. From this treasure, the tiger will receive special attention in this event. In the form of stories and calligraphy, by means of Taijiquan and handicrafts, we will celebrate the Year of the Tiger in many different ways. Wang Min holds a PhD in German studies and is the author of the story collections The White Snake (2019) and The Beautiful Vixen (2021). He lives in Hamburg, Germany.
