On the 11th May, as part of the project, “Heidelberg goes Hollywood – Inside the Writers’ Room”, the third session (second session for Group A) in the new series of workshops, “Writing for TV-Shows” will begin. The 12 participants meet at Monday sessions where they collaborate, working according to the principle of the Writers’ Room, in order to develop their own idea for a script and create new and innovative television series. The participants will benefit from direction provided by Alex David.
The participants will learn how a series is conceptualised, how characters are developed, how single episodes are structured, how an over-arching story is created and how new ideas are generated for further episodes. The aim is to work together to write a draft pilot script.
