Barrios Guitar Quartet

In this series of concerts for children aged 5 and above, the Barrios Guitar Quartet will take its young audience on an exciting journey through distant lands and musical worlds.

The selected compositions illustrate the many facets of music, from brisk, danceable phrases to calm, meditative resonances. The guitarists constantly slip in and out of different rolls drawing their young listeners into the action. The children will see the joy and fun that can be had with high quality, “self-made” music.

During this concert our young audience members will become quickly acquainted with various small and large guitars, with unusual playing techniques and with the basic elements of music.
