Sebastian Gahler Two Moons Quartet

  • Jazzclub Heidelberg at the DAI
  • Concert

It is well known that the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami loves jazz. Sebastian Gahler’s latest album proves that the opposite is also true: jazz loves Murakami. Murakami’s magical realism and bizarre stories speak to Gahler – and above all, he shares the love of music that can be read from every text by the Japanese author. Just as there are countless musical references in Murakami’s works, there are now literary references in Gahler’s compositions. His melodic modern jazz pieces linger in the memory – like well-told stories.

Sebastian Gahler – Piano
