Jazzclub Heidelberg at the DAI

The expressionistic compositions and arrangements of drummer Christian Krischkowsky playfully unite jazz tradition and modernity. Edgy swinging influences of Thelonious Monk can be heard as well as contemporary, partly hip-hop inspired rhythmic structures or idiosyncratically interpreted pop classics e.g. of the Beatles. All with the quartet’s very own expression. Music with depth and humor, soulful, wild, lively and surprising.
