Versatility and colourfulness run like a red thread through the compositions of Heidelberg drummer Dirik Schilgen and unite the many facets of jazz, soul, Brazilian and Latin music in a wonderfully light way.
With the new line-up “Dirik Schilgen JG4” the JazzGrooves compositions are presented in a different context and complemented by further compositions of the bandleader. The sound becomes more electric – in addition to the special attraction of the two-part melody of saxophone and guitar.
