34th Heidelberg Piano Week

Maria Pia Vetro impresses as a soloist and chamber musician worldwide; she has performed at many international festivals such as the Piano Festival of the Chopin Society in Darmstadt and the Paderewski Piano Academy in Poland. She completed her piano training with Daniel Rivera in Italy and graduated with a Master of Music from the Cologne University of Music in the class of Fabio Bidini.

In addition to her impressive piano talent, she teaches piano, chamber music and music theory at the Königstein e. V. music school and is also the artistic director of the chamber music festival Musikalisches Wochenende im Grünen in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid.

At the DAI, Maria Pia Vetro will be playing works by Muzio Clementi, Martin Münch, Ottorino Respighi and Franz Liszt.
