32nd Heidelberg Piano Week Sat, 11th January 2020, 8:00 pm Martina Consonni In cooperation with the "Jahrhundertwende-Gesellschaft Concert Martina Consonni, born in Como in 1997, began playing the piano at the age of six. From an early age she took part in national and international competitions and won over 50 main prizes. Her extraordinary talent earned her numerous other awards as well as several audience prizes. At the age of 14 she received her diploma for piano with top marks and distinction at the Vittadini Conservatory in Pavia. In 2012 she was recorded at the renowned international piano academy Incontri col Maestro in Imola. During her training she graduated from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with a degree in chamber music, also with top marks. She is currently completing her master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover with Arie Vardi. Consonni plays works by Scarlatti, Mozart and Chopin in the DAI.
