32nd Heidelberg Piano Week

Martina Consonni, born in Como in 1997, began playing the piano at the age of six. From an early age she participated in national and international competitions and won over 50 main prizes. Her exceptional talent has earned her numerous other awards as well as several audience prizes.

At the age of only 14 she received her diploma for piano at the Vittadini Conservatory in Pavia with top marks and distinction. In 2012 she was accepted at the renowned international piano academy Incontri col Maestro in Imola. During her studies she graduated in chamber music at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, also with top marks.
She is currently completing her master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover with Arie Vardi.

Consonni performs works by Scarlatti, Mozart and Chopin at the DAI.
