Few things can unite as much as sharing a meal, literally coming together at the same table. David Höner, born in Switzerland in 1955, is a cook, journalist and writer. In 2005, he founded the internationally committed aid organization Cuisine Sans Frontières, for which he works in Quito, Ecuador. In 2019, his book Kochen ist Politik (Cooking is Politics) was published, and in 2021 his culinary manifesto Köche, hört die Signale! (Cooks, Hear the Signals!).
