Makerspace Meetup Wed, 2nd September 2015, 7:00 pm The DAI Public English Library is rising to the challenges of the 21st century digital revolution. We aim to support your access to education and information and promote the exchange of knowledge by addressing the changes in how we find, access and use information. One step in this direction is the new Makerspace launched on April 25, 2015. A Makerspace is a community for people who are interested in designing things, learning new stuff, and generally being creative! Makerspaces have a set of community-owned tools to share, and host classes and events to help encourage people to enjoy learning and creating. We gather to share our interests in 3D printing, coding, illustration, film making, crafts, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and the latest gadgets. It’s a great chance to meet other people who share these interests, and expand your own skills. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org or simply come along!
