Is the SPD biased?
The media create a contradictory impression. We are given an image of a hesitant Chancellor Scholz and see a party that seems to have problems when it comes to spontaneous aid for Ukraine. Is this the work of the media or responsible government policy?

Looking back at history, we remember an extremely successful Ostpolitik and a close network of mutual trust between Germany and Russia. What kind of relationship should we foster with Russia? How close, how far away should we generally position ourselves in relation to the great powers?

Karsten D. Voigt is a politician (SPD) and was a member of the German Bundestag from 1976 to 1998. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Atlantic Initiative. In 1986 he received the Federal Cross of Merit.
