Europeans in conversation

  • Does identity politics divide Europe?
  • In dialogue

The Europeans in conversation take up the great salon tradition in Germany to discuss what can be described as European identity. Europe’s diversity yesterday and today occupies us as much as the centuries-old concern about the search for peace and its maintenance.

The speaker Dr. Sandra Kostner studied history and sociology in Stuttgart and earned her doctorate at the University of Sydney. At the PH Schwäbisch Gmünd she is head of the Master’s program Interculturality and Integration.
As Diversity Officer she researches migration-related conflicts of values. One of her current research focuses: What social dynamics arise from the connection between claims of victims and confessions of guilt?
