A November full of highlights!

Geist Heidelberg 2021 – The anniversary of our International Science Festival will bring numerous highlights to Heidelberg in the coming weeks:
On Monday, November 01, the Cognitive Psychologist Prof. Dr. Steven Pinker will make a fiery plea for more rationality!
On Wednesday, November 3, we will welcome the “Mother of Vaccines”, Paul Ehrlich Award winner and Senior Vice President of BioNTech AG Prof. Dr. Katalin Karikówho developed the technology behind mRNA vaccines.
On the following evening, November 04. Dr. Audrey Dussutour present the world’s largest single-celled organism “Le Blob”, which promises breakthroughs in medical research.
The famous Astrophysicist Harald Lesch awaits you twice for the weekend: Friday evening, 05 November, he will discuss the evocative question “What kind of times are we actually living in?” with you in the context of his lecture, Saturday evening, 06 November he will undertake with you and the Merlin Ensemble Vienna a musical and scientific journey through space and time. Antonio Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” will take you from the formation of the earth and its seasons to present day climate change.
