  • Diving into physics with mice
  • In dialogue, International Children's Book Festival, Literature, Program for children

In Torben Kuhlmann’s books, mice and moles are the protagonists who experience exciting adventures. His readers are invited to travel to the moon with Armstrong, to solve the riddle of a lost sea treasure with Edison, to venture across the Atlantic with Lindbergh, and to go through space and time with Einstein. As we dive into the exciting stories, we learn along the way about technology and history, about the big questions of life, and about how difficult it sometimes is to live together with other mice.

In the form of a picture book cinema, the author and illustrator also gives us a look behind the scenes: How are the stories and illustrations created? Finally, a mouse is drawn live on the flipchart and questions are answered. Perhaps there will also be a brief sneak peek – a short taste – of the latest picture book.

Torben Kuhlmann is an illustrator and author and is one of the most successful children’s book authors of our time. His books have now been translated into 30 languages. He lives and works in Hamburg.
