Sibylle Mottl-Link

  • ABC against school stress
  • Program for children

With “ABC against school stress”, emergency doctor Sibylle Mottl-Link gives even primary school children practical exercises to help them cope with stress of all kinds in a positive way. The children have fun discovering how their own bodies behave after a shock and what they urgently need after a frightening event. The knowledge gained can also be used to prepare for the next stressful event, such as the next class test. In addition, the children in the audience practice how to behave in the event of a dreaded black-out or how to break a panic spiral.

Mottl-Link is accompanied by her stressful puppet family, who often bring her to the brink of madness, but with whose help her heart’s desire comes true in the end: a visit to the famous puppet relatives on Sesame Street in New York. The doctor talks about the incredible miracle of happy coincidences and how her lifelong dream actually came true.

Dr. Sibylle Mottl-Link is a children’s book author. As the ‘doctor with the talking hand’, she uses cheeky hand puppets to convey serious health topics in such a funny way that side effects such as sore laughing muscles are to be expected.
