Navid Kermani Sat, 17th December 2022, 10:00 am Readings & Talks Everyone should come a step closer from where they are Geist Heidelberg, Workshop Following Navid Kermani’s reading from his literary oeuvre on the previous evening(Fri, Dec. 16, 8 p.m.), today’s focus of his visit to the DAI will be on reports, readings and moderated discussions. Navid Kermani, born in 1967 in Siegen, lives as a freelance writer in Cologne. He is a habilitated Orientalist and a member of the German Academy for Language and Poetry. For his novels, essays, reportages and monographs, Kermani has received the Kleist Prize, the Hölderlin Prize, the Joseph Breitbach Prize and the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade, among others. His books have been translated into numerous languages.
