Cooperation versus Competition?

Today, life and work are characterised by high levels of complexity and mutual dependence. We are no longer able to complete the majority of our tasks alone; many of our aims can only be achieved if we work with others. The question of how to strike the correct balance between “I” and “we” is thus of relevance to work and commerce, as well as to education and politics. How do we promote cooperative behaviours in such a competitive world? How can we overcome the obstacles which impede cooperation?

This evening we hope to address these, as well as further questions. There will be an opportunity for interaction, discussion and an exchange of experience.

Organisers: Susanne Janeba, Markus Hänsel, Ulrich Wiek in cooperation with the DAI.
