  • 6th International GHommage to Atahualpa Yupanquiitar Festival Heidelberg

Arturo Zeballos presents an evening under the sign of Atahualpa Yupanqui, considered the most important Argentinean folklore musician of the 20th century. As early as 1980 Arturo Zeballos began transcribing Yupanqui’s work and, with the support of the Fondo de Gestión Cultural y Patrimonio of the city of Pergamino, he began the first edition of the music volumes plus audio recordings of Yupanqui’s own and unpublished pieces.

Zeballos began his musical career under Professor Carlos Molinaro, and from 1978 to 1987 he continued his studies under the master Eduardo Frassón. Later he participated in master classes under Eduardo Eguez, Paul O’Dette, Hopkinson Smith, Gerard Oppizt and Jordi Savall.

Arturo Zeballos is THE specialist for the works of Atahualpa Yupanqui – do not miss this special concert!
