Von der Oberfläche gelesen – Kafka‘s Prague

The renowned translator of Kafka and photographer (Prager Fotoschule) Věra Koubová uses her photo series as a means of entering into dialogue with literature. With her photography exhibition, “Von der Oberfläche gelesen”, she transposes Kafka’s literary, metaphorical methods into a visual medium and in so doing, she forges a connection between the Heidelberg Literature Autumn and International Translation Day.
