Tech Café Wed, 1st October 2014, 7:00 pm DAI - Bibliothek Social Activity Marcus Behrens will present the “Ziegelspiegel”, a mirror that follows the movement of the sun, bringing the sun from sunny Ziegelhausen to dark Schlierbach in winter. Marcus Behrens went from Hacker in Stuttgart to Product Manager in Palo Alto to App Designer in Walldorf. On the way he was joined by his wife Julia and two girls. For his second casual venture into Hardware (first one was in 1985 on sampling music via printer port) he likes to work with cheap materials on simple solutions to problems most people would not be even aware of. Curved TVs, wearable technology, 3D printers, 360° cameras, cloud computing – what does the future look like? Tech Café is a group forum that meets once a month to discuss new innovations in technology. Each month, group participants can share, explain and demonstrate existing and emerging technologies in the tech industry. Occasional invited guest speakers will explain, discuss and debate the latest technological innovations. You are welcome to bring your latest gadgets and video clip demonstrations to share with the group. Come and join us for this exciting venture into the world of technology.
