The British writer A. L. Kennedy has in recent times, and especially since the Brexite, strongly advocated Europe and the idea of a unifying cultural foundation and community.

The changes and challenges that the Corona pandemic brings with it are very moving. Their thinking and writing currently revolves around the shifts in perception, sensation and design that probably all people have to face at the moment.
What will be so important to us in the future that we no longer want to put it at risk? Which views, which characteristics will we regard as “non-negotiable” for a humane society?
She writes about compassion, care, gratitude, also about silence and beauty. “We can remember the necessity of beauty, compassion, collaboration, hope.”
