Update Burnout: News on Causes, Prevention and Therapy
Sun, December 1, 2019, 5:00 p.m.
Burnout seems to be a real epidemic or is it just a fashionable diagnosis after all? On Sunday, three experts will address questions including: what is the current state of research? Who is at risk, who is protected? What is the effect of genes? What is going wrong in the working world, how can we prevent it and when is outside help necessary? The discussion round will be moderated by Jörg Tröger.
With:
Prof. Dr. Klaus Lieb, Psychiatrist, University of Mainz
Dr. Nadine Seiferling, occupational psychologist, University of Heidelberg
Sabine Gernemann, development policy campaigner, 2016 forced break due to burnout disease
Details of the event can be found here https://dai-heidelberg.de/de/veranstaltungen/update-burnout-28938/.
In keeping with the first Advent, the event will take place with mulled wine and candlelight – so don’t (just) go to the Christmas market – come to the DAI!
