Little Poets’ Club

Children love to play with words, sounds and rhythm – that’s why poems and songs are particularly popular as soon as children start talking and listening to stories. And when they begin to write themselves, poetry is a wonderful, playful path into creative writing.
Teacher Robin Sadlier is a lecturer at the English Department of Heidelberg University and has led writing workshops with children of various social backgrounds for many years.

The program is designed for children ages 8 to 12 who are familiar with English or have a bilingual background.
