Bring the whole family for an exciting afternoon exploring DNA, genes, and the building blocks of life! Together with experts from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), we’ve designed hands-on activities, experiments, and games that make science exciting for all ages.
Activities include:
- DNA extraction from bananas – see DNA with your own eyes
- DNA Lego – build your own DNA models
- DNA Origami – fold your way to a double helix
- DNA Base Matching Card Game – test your knowledge in a fun way
- Short DNA quiz & wrap-up – interactive and playful
Whether you’re a budding biologist or just curious about how life works, this afternoon will spark curiosity, creativity, and laughter.
